The Wooly's patio is a Guelph summer institution. Right downtown, $6 select pints, a lively crowd, and extended happy hour on Wednesdays. If the weather is good and you want to be somewhere with energy, The Wooly delivers without requiring a big spend.
Baker Street Station has a nice patio and daily craft beer deals that make it a good summer afternoon or evening option. It's a calmer atmosphere than The Wooly — better if you want conversation over crowd noise. Downtown location makes it easy to combine with a walk along the Speed River.

Manhattan's in the South End has a smaller patio but a strong Thursday deal and live music several nights a week — one of the few Guelph patios where you'll get a soundtrack with your food. Good for date night if you want patio dining without the downtown crowd noise.

Stone Road's best patio for daytime eating, especially Sunday brunch. Symposium runs four weekly specials (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) and the patio is one of the more comfortable in that part of the city. Worth it if you're already on the south side and don't want to drive downtown for a deal.
